LOL - yeah. WASP headlined the first of the two metal-days at Rockwave. It was insane.

Not the blood-splattering WASP of old, just 90-minutes of pure hard-rock music. It truly was a memorable experience, singing along with 15,000 greeks to Blind in Texas, Murders In The Rue Morgue, **** Like A Beast, etc.

can't think of many but here are a few:

    foo fighters
    offspring
    dissociatives
    little birdy
    jet
    grinspoon
    hard-ons
    something corporate
    bodyjar

    plenty more just can't think.

foo fighters-- definitely the best band i have seen.

Hepfidelty was pretty good, it does tend to age though. You cant go past the old school rock of the Injectors with a farkin' Saxophone grooving along in the background.

Was alot better supposrt band then the concert i went to before that which was the MUSE concert, Neon got booed and jeered the whole time and everyone was yelling Where is MUSE? MUSE were awsome though

    The Killers!

I went to see the Killers last night at the Palace in Melbourne thanks to my free tickets from the freq club (after eventually going the right way down St.Kilda Rd). Did anyone else see them live?

Absolutely awesome..... I felt like I was back in the eighties ...but in a good way... awesome songs.... awesome light show.... and fantastic crowd that really got into it. They defintely cemented more than few fans last night. Every song is/was a hit. I love the album.... loved the show even more.

Becthadupa were pretty good.... It was the second time I've seen them... first was at the Eskimo Joe gig at the HI-Fi Bar. Despite a good set I was still waiting for it to end.... a few more hits and these guys will do quite well.

The same couldn't be said for 'The Pictures'...... boring classic Aussie retro pub rock.... cringe factor nine when you sound like Jet.

I will definitely be hanging out for the next Killers Album and tour.

I saw the Killers tonight in Sydney. YES! It was soo awesome. The focus was all on Brandon, of course, but he's a born performer. he was great!

Everyone was standing up and dancing around and just getting into it, the atmosphere was great.

Favourite was definitley 'Indie Rock n Roll'

Betchaupa weren't bad...hey Funky, did the drummer smile the whole time? I thought that was really cute...i don't think I saw him not smiling I'll get their album, I think. They were good.
If I gotta sin to see her again
Then I'm gonna lie and lie and lie
    She'll make you cry

I saw Anthrax along with Killswitch Engage and Soilworks.

A great night and my ears were still ringing something fierce the next morning.
