Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer

Windows Security Updates scan not performed. Says could
not access security update XML file.............plus I
cannot get Auto Protect to stay on on my Norton AntiVirus
Program and can't get rid of Email Scanning Error with red
circle and big X in it.....URGENT ATTENTION!
