I need help removing some items from startup. I know in Win 98 you could go
into the config.sys and edit the items that are running in the background.
How do you do this in Win XP?

Hi
From Start>Run type
msconfig
then click on the startup tab. Uncheck any entries there that you don't
want starting up when Windows does, then reboot your system.
