    Forget Big Brother

I can think of one aus.tv poster who should feel right at home in this
    village.......... ;-)

Forget about a house, these German characters are going to have their
    own reality village.

Germany is forging ahead with a $A12 million Big Brother village that
will turn the show into a never-ending TV reality series.

I wonder if that can really work though...
will viewers be able to visit the town and go for holidays?
If so then the town would be over run by onlookers.
If they dont have it open to the world then they are basically running
    a prison camp.

I agree with Matthew. I'd like it to work ( good for those unemployed
people for a start ), but will it all implode ? Wouldn't you need a
dedicated channel, and that would need to log 'x' many viewers to justify
advertising ( $$$ ) - or would the villagers all be getting "The Block"
moments where they scoff Cadbury chocolate and only use Black n Decker power
    drills ????

There are many reasons why it wont work.
They want it to be a proper town with business etc etc.
I assume that means their own local government.
How long will it take for the residents to vote the cameras out?

The producers can tell them that if they do that then they can f*ck
off out of endemols town..but then the whole world will know and Today
Tonight will run "The Ultimate Lanlord from Hell Story"..then JDL will
come here and tell us about it.
    AH frack.
    Bloody Germans!
