Today Tonight, Channel 7, Australia - gutter journalism

Found this by accident when I was looking for a transcript on a story
from TT, anyone remember this?

It's a good read if you have some time on your hands, I hope Media
Watch do a segment on it.

Why should that surprise you?

They (not just channel 7) do that whenever it suits
their needs to.

Fortunately on Getaway they actually did stay in a real village
for a story and gave an account of what that was like.

But given that their trip and stay would have been funded by a travel
agency or resort, one wonders how much they glossed up their reports too.
