Free mobile when churning home phone to Telstra

Looks like Telstra's giving away Motorola C131 (CDMA) handsets to people
churning their full PSTN service from a competitor to Telstra.

The 'gift' includes a Pre-Paid Plus CDMA starter kit with $10 calls, and is
eligible for the double-recharge offer
(http://www.telstraprepaidplus.com.au...rechargeoffer/)

Offer valid until 31/3/05, unless the 15 000 handsets allocated are claimed
sooner.

With the offer ending at the end of this month it's most likely too
late to churn away from Telstra and churn back to take advantage of
the offer.

... and the mobile is a piece of shit too. I remember reeading once about
that one, how crap it was, and how the ringer volume was so low, almost
inaudible.
