'HomeCap' - new $39 Optus fixed-line plan
'HomeCap' - new Optus fixed-line plan
It's unclear whether it's truly a cap (ie an upper limit), or whether the $39 is actually a fixed fee in exchange for $120 value of calls. Worth noting that the minimum spend per month is actually $68.95, once you include a minimum $29.95 line rental. - $39 'cap', for $120 implied value - minimum 12-month term for local and long distance - available to new and existing customers - includes national long distance, calls to mobile and IDD to any country - local calls are charged on top of the $39 - compatible with bundling offers (eg 3-4 months pa free internet) - available from 1 April 2005 http://www.optus.com.au/vgn-ext-temp...tcurrchannel=1 http://australianit.news.com.au/arti...nbv%5E,00.html http://www.theage.com.au/news/Breaki...?oneclick=true |

Re: 'HomeCap' - new $39 Optus fixed-line plan
What ever happens with prepaid home lines, if say you received a
reverse-charge request from an overseas Telco operator? Is there something in the Telstra system that notifies overseas carriers that a prepaid line is a no-no for acceptance of reverse charge calls?
