JB "You Have Done It Again"

Anyone notice how JB reguarly overstate the RRP for some products in their
brochures. As an example the current brochure in the mailbox today lists the
Pioneer 50" Plasma RRP at $8999. A quick check on the Pioneer Web Site lists
the RRP at $7999. I could understand a one-off error but this has been going
on for months with numerous instances of RRP grossly over stated in
brochures.

Strains their credibilty methinks.

I shop elsewhere these days as I do not find the disorganised & noisy
atmosphere in a JB outlet conducive to shopping for AV gear.

I've noticed Harvey Norman also price things above RRP, I guess the bottom
line is to shop around before purchasing.

Re: JB "You Have Done It Again"

do they ever! I just went to see how much their
take-it-up-the-clacker-interest-free deal was on a 24inch or so widescreen
LCD monitor - it was a full thousand bucks more than Dell's price!

Re: JB "You Have Done It Again"

I rang JB looking for a camera. They said it would have to be ordered. I
asked how much they had it for, the guy said $1093.

I said "ok, so the retail price". And he said "No, the retail is 1099". lol

I went to Teds and paid 799 and loved it.
JB is crap.
