Krix Seismix 7 Subwoofer Standby Problem
My Seismix 7 Krix Subwoofer has developed a problem where it goes into standy mode within 15 minutes (give or take). Switching it on and off at the power point is the only way to get the subwoofer on again, but within a short time it slips back into standby.
Anyone else had a similar problem or know what is causing it? Thanks |

Stand By issues
I don't have this sub but am assuming your issue is to do with level. When you turn on your source (eg DVD player) does it come to life by itself with the opening piece of .1 Channel? MY sub does not come to life until I have turned the volume up on the reciever, which turns up the volume to the sub. I think this issue comes from The level required for the level detection circuits not being sensitive enough. Also, if there is no .1 signal for 15 minutes, then it will probably go into standby. Why don't you turn it on and leave it on (Not Stand-By)?

Re: Krix Seismix 7 Subwoofer Standby Problem
Why don't you contact Krix directly and get an answer from the horses
mouth? If it's something they're not familiar with, no doubt they'd like to know about it. |
