I'll second that. The K500i (same as the K508i but different front case
design) is available for $169 on Virgin Mobile prepaid, if that makes any
difference.

What about the k300? $159 and not locked unlike the K500 series.

cant speak from personal experience on that one, but I would think you are
getting to the bottom end of things there, If you want bang for bucks,you
really cant pass the K508i from Optarse prepaid, it also comes with a ten
dollar sim/starter pack, so in effect you are getting it for $219.00

My girlfriend has one of these, and she is wrapped in it, the only thing
missing on it is bluetooth, for the money, it is very functional.
