Tracking phone number down

Hi all,

Just wondering , is it possible for normal person to know our mobile number
[that is not listed ] ?

Just got a call from a Lloyd saying he is looking for an Edward that has the
same surname as my aunt and somehow manages his way to track my mobile
number , that he claims is listed under the same address as my aunt.

Any ideas ?

TIA

=bob=

Perhaps he got your number from a family member, whose number he
got from a normal directory. If he's been ringing a lot of
people, he might have become sketchy on the details of just how
he found you.

Nope. Unless he rings my family in overseas :D
Me , my aunts and uncles migrated from overseas and our close relatives here
would have notify us if someone is asking around. [Like I just did notify my
aunt re. this call]

+ my aunt surname came from her maiden name, she hasn't use that name to
introduce herself since she was married 15 years ago.

Somehow I always get this odd calls when I advertise something in the
tradingpost .. coincidence ?

Is there any way to track a hidden number during calls [without involving
the police as yet]?

Yes, most obviously if you call them etc.

Yes, some system that you call can do it.

Sounds to me like it could be a Private Investigator, are you or any of
your family members on Work Cover?
