help with my nu-tec dvd 4340

Hi,my nutec dvd player does a good job however these particular dvd-r's that I am getting from the states which have been recorder on a dvd recorder wont play well on my nutec player,the disc's often freeze up and get a scrambnled look to them like a sat signal in bad weather,it's not the disc's as I've seen them play normally on another cheap machine,can anybody help me with this problem,thanks

Reburn them to different discs is probably the easiest option.

computer cheap / new media can be problem

different machines have different levels of error corrections. some time certain machines try to overcompensate for inherent error in disc - which may result in more errors !!!

i guess simplest was will be to rip the dvd to computer (if your drive can read it), and then re-auther it on a media which you know work well with both your burner & your dvd player.

ritek usually works ok, and so does TDK/Verbatim etc.
