ps2 advice on portable dvd purchase

Hi folks, my 1st post
I want to buy a portable dvd player so the kids will behave on long car trips. If it can be the screen for a PS2, and can screen TV while camping, so much the better.
I saw an AWA W481TM at Big W which claims to have a "games console cable" and maybe an A/V input. Anybody know if this means I can plug in a PS2 or a VCR (for it's TV tuner)?
I also saw a Polaroid PDA2727 whach the KMART salesperson claimed similar things for, but the manual was ambivalent about.
Does anybody have advice on these or suggestions for other players?

The portables with the games built in sound like a good idea, two problems, the games are totally lame, most kids won't look twice at them, the built in games also indicate a Sunplus chipset, these run very hot and are in no way suitable for a portable, they will lockup during play after a few hours, hot weather makes it much worse. Suggest looking at something based on a MediaTek or Zoran chipset, Shinco, Omni models without the games, LG, Pyrod are all stable units.

You are correct AV input can allow a PS2 or Xbox to be plugged in, keep in mind that these game consoles only run on 240v so you also need an inverter to supply the power, these can run hot and are just as dangerous as the 240v in your house if kids split a drink on the inverter or something similar.
