Sunfire Processor

Does anyone know anything about sunfire amps or processors. Have been having trouble with the processor getting extremely hot , had it fixed apparently but is happening again. was under the impression that they were built to run cold. it is Theater Grand II
Surround-Sound Processor.

A processor will still run quite "warm", although it shouldn't run "hot", because it doesn't have a power amp section.

Has it got plenty of ventilation? any decent component should not be kept in an enclosed area as it will shorten it's life dramatically, heat is the enemy of electronics.
