I've just purchased a Conia MR910D DVD recorder and it has an irritating hi pitched whirring noise when I play a disk. I took it back to JB Northland, got a replacement but it does the same. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Also when I record off TV a blue bar appears at the top of screen with record time info etc; does anyone know how to get rid of it when recording?

I think thats the model i have, mines also noisy... i live with it.
About the annoying bar at the top of the screen, i just press display, and then another menu comes up, and display again and it disappears. |
