Xbox modchip for me

i am located in sydney and am looking at getting my xbox modchiped i am not shure on what version it is as i dont know how to cheak

i am wondering what chip i am best getting and where in sydney can u buy it and get it installed with warrenty i want to be able to play

divx xvid svcd vcd dvd mp3 wmv ect
and backups of autralian titles as well as overseas titles and originals of both australian and overseas titles but was hoping that i could get one that is a direct boot just put the cd in and go i am used to old ps2 mods where you have to do a swap trick any prices i am looking at and good mods that do all that i would love to hear about i also want to be able to insatall a new h/d bigger one like 120gb later on as well i was looking at blade but first of all they are in brisbane and second of all the chip i wanted is like over $200 and i cant afford that
