Samsung zeros in on HD TV

SAMSUNG Electronics has announced the development of the worlds largest
TFT-LCD panel for high-definition (HD) television.

"The introduction of the 57-inch TFT-LCD further differentiates Samsungs
TFT-LCD product line-up as it enforces the full HD feature panel
availability that enables next-generation, high-resolution wall hanging
TVs," it said.
Samsung, the worlds largest provider of TFT-LCD (thin film transistor-liquid
crystal display) panels, has kept breaking new size records in the LCD
industry.......

On cable TV they have a weather channel - 24 hours of weather. We had
