Any idea what the new Fox channels will be?

With all this talk of upgrades and additional channels being added to
Fuxtel, any idea what these channels will be? With speculation about the
number of channels doubling, WTF can they fill the time with??

More 'Pay Per View' channels? More shopping? Please no more finance
channels!!! Hope to God the Country Music channel doesn't re-appear.

I bet it will. Probably also things like ESPN, HBO movies (I think they
offer a whole bunch of channels).. I'm just guessing here, just look up some
of the US cable providers and see which ones aren't currently carried by
Foxtel and you can probably pick out likely contenders.

I'd be a happy camper if HBO came to Fox.

I would love a Sci-Fi channel, that plays lots of Star Trek.

I would like a channel all about cooking, just a plain old cooking channel.

and yeh HBO would be Schweet, but i think we should keep on dreaming :)
Anyway SFU is coming to one of the other channels soon, Fox 8, or Arena or
something like that.

I reckon at least 30 PPV movies channels,sounds heaps but if you time shift
like this.

Show X 4.00pm, 4.30pm, 5.00pm, 5.30pm, 6.00pm thats 5 channels taken up.

Even Sky NZ has 8 PPV movies channels, not counting Playboy,Spice1 and Spice
2 Adult channels.

The intention will be to make back all the $$ they spent on the upgrade asap

I saw mention on the net of a niche channel called "The wine network" from
Hawaii , has signed with an Aus provider.

Should have an X rated porn channel, no more R rated ones.

Can quite easily be locked from inquisitive young minds.

The old one won't, because it dissolved. However, Austar put together it's
own to replace it. Foxsat subscribers could be watching it now if Foxtel
flicked the right switch. It's almost certainly going to be in the expanded
lineup.

That's not going to happen without a major rights reshuffle. More likely is
another general entertainment channel carrying the HBO dramas not now
screened.

I'll be rooting for HBO and the sci-fi channel. Do you think they will be

Can I have Formula One qualifying sessions back like OptusVision used to
have years ago on Sports Australia sourced from ESPN2?
