XMS-888 Blew up!

I have had my XMS-888 for 3 weeks now, i turned it on today, BANG, it blew up and scared the sh*t out of me. There is now no power or anything.

Guess i gotta take it back now and tell em its junk, it was a good DivX player, pity its dead.

Just take it back with a copy of your invoice, less than 30 days old will get swapped over anyway. Obviously an electrical problem there somewhere.

Bad luck!

I believe that this was just a little unlucky mate. Typically, chinese made power supplies are not quite at the standard to the rest of the world yet. They statistically have a shorter life span as they use different grade of components for their power supply. Even their PCB is undesirable at times on the power supply.
