XMS-888....How reliable is it??

Hi Guys!

new here, gotta say this is a great Divx forum! went to check out the XMS-888 today, selling for $179 in Brisbane....it this a reasonable price? anyway, had a look of the machine....wouldn't't say good finish and quality...the buttons are out of line....I would give 6/10 for the look and finish. However, those who owns a XMS-888, how would you rate it? how reliable is it? and what are the faults so far....like some mentioned stand-by issue...someone's blew up!? and over heated? and others? the mpeg4 playback attract me to buy one....but paying $179 with additional problems later...kinda put me off...so any suggestion is welcome!!

Thanks in advance!!

A quick run down of issues etc are at www.xms888.tk
look under the 'Firmware, Download, Instructions & comments' section for bugs / improvements on the latest firmware.
