help with subtitle file on trio-628 player
i just burnt a cd-r with a xvid movie (.avi) that also has a separate .sub file (subtitle file).
i cant the subtitles to appear on my tv? any ideas? btw. this player rocks, not only does it look cool, it plays just about any format ![]() thanks slider17 |

I believe that none of the MediaTek MTK1389 based players (the dx-628 being one of them) supports subtitle files as yet.
Hopes are high that they will sometime soon. See point 12 of http://www.neodigits.com/shtmls/divxdvd/faq.shtml This is the NeuNeo player, based on the same chipset. |

thanks for the reply, i have another question to ask, is this player region-free? and is macrovision disabled by default?

Region free out of the box I believe, no macrovision hack as yet (although it has a vga output on it which is supposed to be macrovision free).
http://www.triocorp.com.au/DX-628.aspx is as close as you will get to an official website. |
