help with subtitle file on trio-628 player

i just burnt a cd-r with a xvid movie (.avi) that also has a separate .sub file (subtitle file).

i cant the subtitles to appear on my tv?
any ideas?

btw. this player rocks, not only does it look cool, it plays just about any format

I believe that none of the MediaTek MTK1389 based players (the dx-628 being one of them) supports subtitle files as yet.
Hopes are high that they will sometime soon.

This is the NeuNeo player, based on the same chipset.

thanks for the reply, i have another question to ask, is this player region-free? and is macrovision disabled by default?

and what is the official website for this player..

Region free out of the box I believe, no macrovision hack as yet (although it has a vga output on it which is supposed to be macrovision free).
http://www.triocorp.com.au/DX-628.aspx is as close as you will get to an official website.
