XMS-888 Whre to now?

Hi,
my appoligies if this question has already been asked, but I have just bought an XMS-888 (great player!!!!). I checked the version of the firmware using the hidden menu function and found that I have version ver ie no number. I remember reading in one of these threads that this means I have version 1.0 My question is this - do I need to upgrade first to 1.1 and then to 1.2?

Many thanks
