Nothing wrong with that!
I use 2 of them almost daily and will continue to do so until recordable DVD players become more widely available and much, much cheaper.

Digital, I have had my VHS for about 4 years, had no problems with it and use it alot(mainly for taping programs).
Like watcher said- until the prices of recordable DVD players come down- the VHS player will be around- maybe not for watching rental films(DVD's do that now) but for recording and watching your old tapes you might have.

Ah well done my dear fellow! Indeed, a video cassette recorder could still be construed as an indispensible piece of machinery, and indeed, would be the only financially viable method of retaining posterity for programs on televison.

May I enquire as to how many heads your lovely machine possesses?
