Cool The Best DVD with Divx

hi!
The tr 628 is absolutely the best dvd player with divx in the same type products which I have known by now.
One feature of 628, 888 don't has, is "multi audio support in divx". That is to say it can play all the format audio stream (such as MP3, PCM) in the same divx file. You can press the audio button in REMOTER to change the audio stream. I don't know whether many people in au have bought the 628 player and whether they need the updated firmware. If you can tell me, I think the good news would come soon.

You can also change the Audio track on the XMS-888 by pressing 'Track' on the remote control while playing a divx (xvid) file.

Bought mid December 2003 (Perth), has been updated to ver 1.2 firmware.
I have only used a 'divx / xvid test disc' for testing that kind of bandwidth on Xvid (3Mbit/S). It plays back 1500k (1.5M)- no problem, 3100k (3M) - no problem, 6000k (6M) - some stepping when a lot of motion on Xvid.
3Mbit will result in a very large file size, you would even get pretty reasonable Mpeg-2 at that kind of bandwidth.
Why are you encoding that high?
(also note, the 888 does not support PCM - at this stage - but does support multiple audio tracks within DivX / Xvid - including MP3 and AC3)
