Okay, i have done about 50 hours of FFX and i am nowhere near a levelled up character. For those FFX freaks out there, has anybody actually almost "maxed" out each character? If so, how can you do it very quick? Also, can i borrow your memory card hehe

I am only upto the second time you fight Seymour (Mt. Gagazet) and i just get my ass whipped soo hard by seymour. I know i still have a few hours left in the game, but its the character levelling that is proving to be a very difficult challenge. Any hints from anybody?

Once i get the ship, i should be alright to level up, but again, i really can't seem to defeat seymour at that stage (only got around 2000-3000 HP depending on the character, and not many abilities learned, mostly stat levelling was done in the sphere, chose the wrong routes

Speed is the key of this game!

I finish the game in around 38 hrs, without any problem with the bosses. You need to use Aeons often when fighting boss. My strongest character is no way max out in the sphere.

But in order to defect all the monsters in the claim lands, I spend up to 100 hrs to level up my characters....

yeah i figured getting good agility is the key, but stoopid me chose the "Advanced Sphere Grid" not the normal one

oh well, i guess its just a matter of hours and hours of fighting so i can get the airship and then max out the characters properly doing the AP trick where its possible to get 99 s.lvls in one fight

My characters were no where near Maxxed up. But yeah those monsters in the calms lands ( I assume the captured ones) are a really bugger.

So your at Mt. Gagazet. There is a trick in beating him more easily. Its still not easy. And the other sphere grid may have been best option. This was the one I chose and for the most part had no dramas

after 2 weeks, and 100+ hours later, the sphere grid has been changed to the original sphere grid, i have managed to max out 5 of the 7 characters, killed every single monster in monster arena (including nemesis).

Now its time to max out 2 more characters, kill the dark aeons/pennace and get some armour with ribbon/break hp limit, auto-haste, auto-phoenix and auto protect.

gRRRRRR those dark matters are soooooooooooo hard to get (need 99x for 1 bloody ribbon :cries: )

woah dude... Didnt doing all this bore ya?? My characters only had between 3600 - 6800 to finish it

haha, yeah it does and has gotten boring sometimes, but i want to be uber 1337 with the stats (also the fact that i have done so with every single FF Game, i remember trying to get 3x master summons, master commands, master magics in FFVII, BRING THE KINGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE BACK DAMNIT!!!! instead of that Ifrit, Bahamut and Shiva crap Square seems to love)

i tell you whan though, seeing 99999 for every hit is sweeeet

The Aeons are roughly the same stats as Yuna, there are still some "not maxed" properties in some of them though, which of course will eventually get maxed out , times like this is when an action replay comes in handy

Sorry I was playing the NTSC/J version.

In order to get more dark matters, u need to make sure u overkill and get 2 of it each time. Also use a character with higher luck.

Yes it's nice to use Tidus & get 13 x 99,999 damage.

Yeah i have so far gotten 79x dark matters from rare drops all over monster arena and its very rare not to get an overkill as every hit is 99 999 damage

13x? how? the most is 9x 99 999 damage that i know of. Blitz ace does 8x 99 999 hits, then if you complete it, it will do a final 99 999 hit making it 9x 99 999. I do know that Wakka's Attack Reels does 12x 99 999 if its complete properly

Yeah i know about that one, its got Yuna, Rikku (who looks like Christina Aguilera imo, pic here) and Paine (sp?) as the main characters. As much as i want to get it in march, i can't play ntsc/j games, my ps2 is not modified :cries:

Hmm... I read a guide from GamesFAQ, it mentioned 20x, but I didn't get Wakka's weapon (cos I don't play the ball game)

The first NTSC/J version is in Japanese only, but the International NTSC/J has English.

Well I guess u need to wait for at least 6 months for the FFX-2 in PAL...

well no u cant have my memory card....

i have put in over 150 hours on ffx and am only just now finishing the full board with yuna and wakka..............

as for the mount gagezet ....use yojimbo........call him heaps and give him about 1000 a turn till he starts doing zanmato's
then when u go to fight seymor grand summon yojimbo and give him about 100 000 if he doesnt do a zanmato reset the game and try again till he does...... but i dont see
why he wouldnt.....killing dark aeons takes less money in some cases!!!!!

as for the level uping try putting double or tripple ap on ur weapon......it helps alot if i didnt do it i probably would still be struggleing along with the skill board!!!

dude those stats u have r aiight.........but ur hp sucks...........u need to keep going and use all the hp spheres u pick up..........my hp is around 40 000 for each character

HELP!!! I really need help on FFX. I have done everything (even beat Pennance and Nemesis) but the only thing I haven't done is get the Onion Knight. I have the weapon and the Venus Crest, but not the sigil.

Is there an easy way to dodge 200 lightning bolts? And I really hope it's not "perseverence." The best I can do is 61! It's damned impossible. If anyone can help plz do. I will be eternally greatful
