Nintendo Game and Watches

Anyone remember these? They came out about 1982 or so and there were a variety of games such as octopus, parachute, donkey kong(fave of mine- the double screen one) and also a Mickey Mouse one where Mickey had to catch eggs(there were heaps more of them) and there were also some rip offs of them as well(of the game and watch type).

I believe they are collectors items these days- I guess maybe worth a bit as well(only wish I kept my game and watch games
).

Yeah, they can sell well to collectors.
I remember someone here practically giving away a heap of them to another member who said that he wanted them for family members kids and then soon after he was spotted flogging them off at Ebay for some good money.

Tell me about it.

I tried to buy the donkey kong on EBay to relive the childhood a couple of months ago, got outbit at $60. Just can't justify going any higher than that!

There's a great Donkey Kong G&W emulator available. Very cool. emulates the double screen set up and everything!!

How cool is the bonus G&W level in Super Smash Bros Melee (GCN) Love Nintendo sometimes......

I remember the post that Watcher is referring to!

And here I thought to myself what a nice guy! Boy! I'm glad I didn't part with my 2 Donkey Kongs!

Now I have an idea why he changed his name on this forum!

Pretty cool, you've got to love the G&W Character as well! I have Donkey Kong Hockey (1 or 2 player) it's in great condition if anyone wants to buy it. It's one of the rarer and harder to find G&W games now I only have the game no watch or box or anything.

I had the original Donkey Kong. Passed down from Cousin to grandfather to me, back to grandfather, down to another cousin.

I belive it is still working, but the jump button is a little stiff. Not bad for a 20 year old system with many hours usage
