Damage from overclocking video card?

Good day
In another forum I spoke about a problem with my computer restarting for no reason, and i have decided to get a nesw power supply in a couple of weeks. I thought the trouble was caused from the video card drawing too much power. After further investigation, i found that the bios settings reset to 1/1 on the busspeed so my agp card was running at 100MHz. I installed Sisift Sandra to verify, and it said agp was 100. Is this possible? I wouldn't think it would even run at that speed
By the way for those who werent't following the other thread, the card is a MSI geforce MX460 VT. If it was running for some time at 100 could it have damaged the card? it never felt hot at all and it has a large heatsink with fan on it.
Thanks
Steve

Golly, I don't know. I suppose your guess is as good as mine on this one. I would think that the graphics card would lock up at some point if it couldn't handle it. Oh, well. Nothing you can do now to undo any possible damage. If it still works, don't worry too much about it. Just set the thing to 2/3, OK?

Hey, is this that same Abit ZM6 with the Powerleap adapter? Whatever came of that?

Yes it is the ZM6.
I will be getting my new power Supply nezt week and we will go from there. I was just concerned that i may have had this all start from the busspeed situation.
It is funny that it would run at 100 though, I tried 83 and it wouldn't run but it would at 75 and 66. I thought it may have actually been at 66 but sisoft sandra says 100. Anyhow, once i put it back together it will be a 2/3.

Completely off this topic, I put my m571 back into service today. It still runs 75x5.5 on an old k62 300 thanks to the resistor formula you came up with
Thanks

Ummm, sure, no problem. Especially since it was either Brad or Franc Z. who came up with that formula! Or maybe somebody else.

Keep me posted.
