Ozeagle? How come he gets all the credit?

The Living End will be performing at Manly Wharf (Sydney) on Thursday the 11th at 3:00 as part of a Triple M free garage session. If their past live shows have been anything to go by this should be a great show.

The Crustys are coming

Back by unprecedented demand, The Crusty Demon's 10th Anniversary Tour will be the greatest live Crusty show ever!

To kick start the tour, the legendary Seth Enslow will attempt an insane world record jump of 300ft in Brisbane. This extreme sports event of the year will be televised world wide.

X Games and Gravity Games gold medallist Nate Adams leads an all star cast of the greatest freestyle motor cross riders in the history of the sport.

Adams, Enslow, Deegan, Jones, Faisst, Twitch, Kinnaird, Schubring, Franklin, Maddison and more... a total of 16 riders*... plus the flipping madness of the Z50's, the incredible freestyling quad and skidoo... the Crusty Babes... Bubba... and much, much more!

This will be the Crusty party of the decade!

The Tour is going on sale pre Christmas because of expected massive ticket demand. As with past tours this is expected to sell out so book early.

As an exclusive offer to My Ticketek members, you have the opportunity to purchase tickets online for the Sydney and Melbourne Shows from Thursday November 11 at midday, in an Internet Pre-sale, ending on Sunday November 14 at 5pm. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday November 15 at 9am.

It was definitely on the official site for some time. Greenday.net reported it too, but have pulled it since. You can still see their announcement via Google's page cache though:

According to Pete Townshend, there is a possibility of a tour in first half of 2005. As to whether that will reach our shores, who knows?

Another interesting little bit of information. on the Visa Preffered Seating site, they have a 'wishlist' of rumoured upcoming Australian tours. One of those listed is "THE GOODIES".

I could be wrong, but I think Visa have got their wires crossed. This from "The Goodies" website:

"Graeme Garden sent the following note to the club: "On a non-Goodies matter, my son John is currently keyboard player with a group called the Scissor Sisters. The group, who originate from new York, are pretty hot in the UK just now, and are just about to play a US tour this month, before returning for a UK tour in October [sold out, including the Albert Hall!]and then hope to tour Australia in early 2005. Just though the fans might like to know... All details are on their website: http://www.scissorsisters.com/main.php Fans in the US should note that the upcoming tour dates there are from September 7th through Sept. 20th."

So I think someone has seen "tour" and "Goodies" and thought the Goodies might be touring heeheehee.

Still nothing on the official Green Day site, nor on www.ticketek.com.au, but according to today's Brisbane Courier Mail newspaper tickets for the Brisbane concert go on sale Friday December 3.

Also noticed in the interview with Green Day in today's paper:

"...ahead of a visit to Australia in March with fellow punk rockers Simple Plan."

Yeah, I've heard them advertising it on the radio too. They didin't say a date, just "playing at the Superdome (Sydney) with Simple Plan". Was kinda hoping that they'd tour with The Living End since those guys are mates, but unfortunately you can't have everything.
