Question DSE R100A (G1598) Finalising Problem

Hi there

I recently bought a d**k Smith DVD recorder to record some of my favourite tv programmes. I've just finished my first disc, and had gone through and hidden chapters with adverts etc. Upon finalising the disc so it can be used in other DVD players, i've lost 1/2 of one of my programmes. I was very careful when i hid the chapters pre-finalising to make sure I hid the correct ones. Anybody heard of anything like this happening before?

I've got another disc ready for finalising but i'm pretty hesitant to do it as i don't want to lose any of it. If it's unfinalised, at least i'll be able to view it all on DSE recorder. Guess I can try it on a disc where i've recorded stuff i'm not interested in and see if it works. Just thought I'd check to see if anyone's had similar problems?

Cheers
Mike
