Angry strathfield +r discs

Help,

I brought these discs, which my liteon 5001 recorder read and taped several shows on, and now the next day I want to add orfinalize them, the dvd's won;t read, I leep getting invalid disc, data disc or fail come up. HELP!!!!

I can understand if it won;t read them at all, as has happenmed with some brands, but to read, record etc and do this.....I hope someone can help. Should have stuck to the shintaro ones

On the whole, I ahve had no other probs with my machine and it can be on 24/7

There is a problem with the latest discs with your model recorder, this is being investigated already with the suppliers of the LiteOn, these are not the only discs affected at the moment.

Some newer TDK have also been failing, I believe they are planning a firmware update to cover the newer media on the market, it's a media handling problem, some discs are coming up as unrecognised. Have you updated the firmware to the latest available? Details here if you want to check http://www.liteonit.com/DC/english/download/index.asp

Are you able to email me the open files or let me know a program that can open them?
