Hi all,
I have a XMS-2150 DVD player which has stopped working. I opened it up and found it had a burnt-out resistor on it's main circuit board, the one with the MT1369DE chip on it. BTW, It is just out of warranty. Does anyone have a schematic diagram of this board so I can get a replacement resistor? If not, does anyone know the resistor that is required for R38? The current one is unreadable. Any ideas as to why it may have blown and if I replace it, is it likely to blow again? Alternatively, what is the price of a replacement board and where can I get one from? Thanks in advance, Joe PS This was a replacement player as the first one we got failed not long after we bought it....mind you, it was for a different reason. |

Are there any color bands on the resistor that you can see?

Thanks andw for the reply but unfortunately it is(was) a Surface Mounted Device or SMD resistor. The 3 other ones near it all have different values or codes on them.
