What are the best discs??

What are the best discs we can record our priceless memories on?? What brand have people had for a length of time??

Please let me know what brand, where to get them etc....

Also, how does slp stand in the test of time so far with recording?? I gasther hq and sp are better, but for movies is this good (slp)

Ritek and databank seem to be one of the more popular ones as "good media" i for one, have not had any problems at all with princo discs.

Taiyo Yuden. You can get their OEM 4x discs (that apparantly can be burnt reliably at faster speeds) online from jpldisplays for $67/100. I don't know if they make faster discs (I only need 4x). The next best would be ritek/ridata.

Thumbs up Princo


I use nothing But Princo A Grade discs.
Have burnt over 300 discs with not a single problem.
Cheap and accessable on E-Bay too...
