DVD Region Unlock Codes for Toshiba SD2500

Does anyone have a Region-Unlock code for a Toshiba SD2500?

There doesn't appear to be any online that I can find.

Google returns two hits, both on these forums - neither have any unlock codes.

The internal search only throws up one more hit, with no success.

I've got some older Region-1 DVDs that I've had for a while - and play just fine on the old Pioneer unit I've got.

If you're interested, check out the following pay-site for a decent database of DVD handset codes. It's got a few machines that other sites don't feature, so I'm recommending it. It seems a good place to go for those rarer machines by the looks of things.

It's actually got a Sony unlock on one of its front pages. I don't know whether it works though, as I heard Sony machines can't be unlocked with a handset code? Who knows. Anyway, here's a link to the free page - the codes might be of some use to you.

How's that Spam?? I also like the dvdreviewer site, they both have their benefits. Aren't you allowed to make suggestions here?

It wasn't a statement, more a question -- you made two posts on the board, both 'advertising' that site.

The site is unprofessional in the extreme, and doesn't offer any way of finding out if the DVD Player unlock codes you're after are actually listed in the site.

To me, it rings of a phishing scam to get credit card numbers...

If anyone wants to prove me wrong, I'd be more than happy to stand corrected.

I don't think so. The site only accepts Paypal, so the credit card number is never revealed to site owner. I wouldn't be so pessimistic. If I wanted to know what players are listed, I'd be sure to contact the guy first. Let's just leave it there shall we, I don't want to get into an argument about stupid web preferences.
