Where did you hear this Hatz? VW & Lotus sound pretty good - Just as long
as they don't put "Handling Technology by lotus badges" on the new VW GTI ;)

VW buys Proton?

Thats the late mail.VW want it "done-deal-status" by years end.

Now that insane high % tariff protection is falling in Malaysia, Proton
would have zilch chance to survive on a level playing field with the
superior Japanese [and Korean etc] product

Means VW would get Lotus too.

Not sure what would happen to the recent Cagiva/Husqvarna/MvAgusta Group
that Proton has just part purchased.

Bout the only auto co. deal this year
